Worldwide Hard Drive Price Increase

The recent floods in Thailand have dramatically increased the price of conventional hard drives.  This will soon be increasing the average cost of a PC by 15%. This may make SSD (Solid State Device) drives look comparitivly more affordable. It also sugests that hosted applications may suppliment what hard drive storage provides.  Prices may stabilize in the second half of 2012.
